We are having Girls! i went with Rochelle my daughter for her scan and she’s expecting identical twin girls!.. Im so happy!

Looking way ahead, that’ll cause their teachers a few headaches…oh and they will be able to cause chaos with boyfriends!!

how wonderful Michelle twin grandaughters, think of all the lovely pretty baby clothes you can get for them…i love buying my little grandaughters clothes, not that i spoil her … or anything, but isnt that what grandmas are for lol

Yes i think there will be some fun to be had. It is lovely that they are girls, she didn’t mind whether they were boys or girls …but now we know what they are it makes it even more exciting.

Frazer was a bit fed up because he got left at home for the scan, he’s used to going everywhere with me and we both felt sad without each other, but I think Rochelle was a bit nervous about taking him.

Dickie’s doing great Michelle. Really settling in. Much less nervous. Already getting into a routine. Loves his grub!!! What with his mobility problems and love of food we really are made for each other!!!
I hate going out and leaving him but never out for long… but he doesn’t seem to mind. Probably relieved not to have me hovering over him all the time!

Watched a very interesting programme on tele about twins - this week. One pair were separated at birth and adopted from Korea.
They eventually met up age 26. And they now are inseperable. Hope you watched it.

I saw a great documentary about Chinese twins. The were both adopted in China at the same time, one by an American couple and one by a Danish (maybe Norway) couple. The two couples couldn’t believe how similar the babies looked so they had DNA test done and sure enough they were identical twins.
The two girls, about 10 years old when documentary was made, skype each other, send presents to each other and both families have had holidays with each other.
It was very heartwarming and amazing how similar the girls were even though brought up in very different environments.

Mel, What wonderful news. C ongratulations to you all. My sister-in-law and brother had twins 31 years ago. A boy and a girl. Who both have their own child now! Where does time go?
Anyway. I think having twins is great. Two for the price of one I always say!!
I hope all goes well and enjoy every minute you have with them. I know I would!
