Hello Jan ,
That sounds awful, poor you , I bet you were scared
Take care and i hope you feel better soon.
Michelle x
Oh Jan poor you!!! How awful for you.
My mum had a mass found in her head about 22 years ago. She had it removed and has been absolutely fine ever since. She’s 87 now and doing much better than me!!!
Hers started with an epileptic seizure. She’d never had one before and hasn’t had one since.
Fingers firmly crossed that the outcome is as good for you. Actually now I remember a woman living here also had one about 20 years ago… she was fine as well.
Thinking of you hon.
Lots of love, Pat xx
Hi Jan,
That sounds terrible! Poor you. Fingers crossed that the outcome is good for you!
you’re so brave…I’m already quaking in my boots at the thought of a possible operation on my heart but my Dr explained yesterday they will go up through my arm with a wire. It’s much more straightforward than yours but I’m a total quivering wreck at the very thought, so very well done!
Get plenty of rest and take good care of yourself,
love Nina xx
Oh Jan sounds awful, fingers crossed it is OK, in the meantime really take it easy and rest as much as you can…
Nina, hope your op goes well, sending ((((hugs)))0 to both of you.

Hi Pam,
I’m not 100% sure that I have to have it yet…I have a bit of a hospital phobia so I’m jumping the gun as far as worrying is concerned…my biggest dread is spending time in hospital! I know I’m a big baby! I had a few operations in my twenties, the final one being a hysterectomy and for some reason ever since then I’ve been terrified!
How are you getting along with the antidepressants Pam, are you feeling any benefit yet?
take care of yourself.
Nina x
Hi Nina
Fingers crossed for you that there is another option so no op is needed. You are not being a baby worrying about having an operation, what you’re feeling is a normal reaction, so please don’t beat yourself up.
My hubby is also waiting for an op 5o reduce his prostrate, and believe me, he is also feeling the same, I am sure we would all feel this way.
I think the aanti depressants have started to work, as I am not constantly in tears, so I take that as a positive. My doçtor called in yesterday and told me he wants me to stay on them for 12 months, which shocked me, as I had envisaged it would only be for a couple of months, but I need to take his advice.
Take care ((((hugs))))

Oh Jan how scary that must have been. Good luck with the results, please let us know how you get on, fingers crossed!!
Nina fingers crossed for you too, keep us posted.
And Pam I’m glad the meds are taking effect, I’m not surprised about the year, they very rarely give them for any less than 6 months, but a year is usual. I tried to stop taking them after that time but found I was better on them so was encouraged to continue. It’s much better than being down.
Take care everyone.

Pam I’ve been taking then since I was forty and I’m sixty three now! I honestly believe that it’s not normal depression but an imbalance caused by MS!
I’ve tried to stop them a few times but I always sink back down into a black hole! I still have the odd sad day but in general I’m a happy person and quite content with my funny little life. Don’t worry about how long you take them as long as they help you.
Sorry you husband is waiting for an operation too…I hope he can get it over and done with very soon. Will someone stay with you whilst he’s in hospital?
take care,
Nina xx
Hi Nina
Thanks, I just had no idea they might be a long term thing, and when he said I was really surprised. He actually said 12 months from when he feels I am back on the up!
A family member is going to stay when hubby is in hospital, same as in December when he was in for 11 days for the same thing. He just wants it over and done with, he is so fed up wearing a catheter, so hhe looks for the postman every day.
Take care, lovely day here today.
Pam x
Oh my goodness, you poor thing! Fingers crossed the results come quickly and it’s nothing to worry about!
Take care of yourself and I hope you heal quickly too
