Hoping someone can help with this, i’m currently taking Rebif and no side effects. The problem is when injecting the actual injection doesn’t hurt but i get one hell of a burning sensation which i assume is the liquid going in, this is really putting me off, anyone know if changing the comfort settings will help this? Any suggestions for settings appreciated.
Thanks D x
This is exactly what used to happen to me. I spoke to my nurse who told me to adjust the settings that the needle goes in deeper. The stinging is from the rebif hitting your nerves in the skin and if it goes in deeper it doesnt hit them. It worked for me. If you go to comfort setting, needle depth and see if you can change it. I went from 8mm to 10mm and it helped wonders. HTH, Lindsay
