Still waiting for my first delivery of Rebif but hit a delay. Apparently, the paperwork from the hospital wasn’t clear so Healthcare at Home had to query it. Then they didn’t record my contact details correctly in their system. I called Healthcare at Home on My Support line’s advice. I queried what I’d be receiving to be told Rebif but in pens and not the rebismart. Now they’ve got to go back to the hospital to query it again.
Is there a cost implication for the NHS Trust over whether they prescribe the pen or the rebismart? Healthcare at Home say they can’t supply it without the hospital’s say so. I thought the consultant just prescribed the drugs not the device. What’s everyone else’s experience of this?
