Afternoon all.
Well the Social Worker has been to re-assess me or more care (dosh to pay for it).
I feel it went well and am hopeful. I did tell her how the last SW cared me silly, by saying I may lose some of my present package. She assured me that would not happen, in any way shape or form…her words.
We went through my last care plan and there were more changes than stay the sames…if you get me.
Plus I should`ve been paying my carers when they take me on holiday! Didnt know that!
She then mentioned how MY MS can vary…er excuse me, I said, I dont have MS anymore!
Of course she needed an explanation as to what the neuros have said and how I`ve ended up wth a daft diagnosis, which means I cant walk, have troublesome bladder and bowels, but no-one knows why!
She is also keen for me to go to a day centre, as I only get out once a week. I would like that.
So we wait and see…she said it will take a bout 2 weeks to process.

Ohhhhh Poll, I hope you get the extra help you need. I’m sure you’d love going to a day centre - the one my Dad used to attend was brilliant. Would be good for Mr Polly to have some ‘me time’ too.

Sounds a lot better than the last Social Worker at your assessment.
Hopefully you won’t have to wait long til it all falls into place. Be nice for you to get out to a Day Centre once a week. Good for Mr Poll too to see you getting out and about meeting new maties.

Wishing you all the best with the outcome. Sounds wonderful . I used to accompany my Dad at his Day care centre and both of us absolutely loved it. So many things were going on, great people to meet, and lots of fun and laughter. A wonderful break from the hum drum. You will love it. Im sure the 2 weeks wait will fly by.
