Prednone steriods

Hi I just wanted to check that the following reaction was normal with 5 days or Prednone steriod tablets. When i had my CIS and took these tablets I lost near all strength in my arms. I found it hard lifting a dinner plate with food on. Is that normal? I gradually gained my strength again but it took several months. Also I had acne on neck, back and front, my hair thinned extenively and I had severe constipation for weeks. thanks. I haven’t had consistency with neuologists and haven’t been asked how I got on with the steroids. x
