Another steriod question

Hi all

I put this on my original thread and then realised that might not be the best way to ask!

I have an new question - hope you don’t mind…

I stopped taking the Steriods on Tuesday, (it was 500mgs for 5 days) and now feel much worse - really weak and light headed, with a bad headache and more exhausted than usual! Is this normal?

Yes kind of. In that steroids are strong drugs and the ‘come down’ from them can be quite bad. But as we’ve said before, steroids are an odd drug. Everyone’s experience is different.

But your post steroid experience will go, give it the weekend and see how you feel on Monday. If you still feel like a washed out dishrag, then see your GP.
