Forgot to add this to another post. I have been on prednisilone low dose for about 4 months following an allergic reaction to a drug. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced side effects. One of what I think is a side effect is small capillary vessels in my thigh seem to have become more prominent or burst. I read somewhere that steriods can weaken the walls of blood vessels? Does anyone know if this is correct?

Im not sure about your blood vessels, I know they can tell on our bones thats why we can only have two courses in and 12 months period,
The last lot I had was high dose 500mg fir 5 days, even if you dont eat extra you will put weight on, I found out its water retention, I was gutted I put 7lbs in a week, did not help that I was on the weight watchers at the time it took me about a month to loose it, it affected my sleep as well, i ciuld not sleep well at all, and its not as though I had the energy to to make the most of not being able to sleep.
