Hi everone, after struggling with wierd symptoms for years not knowing what was going on with my crazy body i recently found out i have ms (rubbish) i felt totally on my own.
A few days ago i found this organisation including this website full of brill people who are going through the same thing. I can see how everyone supports each other and i will try my best t return the favour.
You will find lots of friendly people here always willing to offer support and advice. I’m so glad you found us. I found it after managing on my own for several months and wish I had found it earlier.
Welcome to the site. As Tracey says, there are lots of great people on here, always happy to give support and advice. They saved my sanity, following my diagnosis last year.
Hello and welcome, You’ve come to the right place. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis; people here are really helpful and supportive. Take care, Ann xx
HI THERE. NOT SURE IF I’M IN THE RIGHT PLACE BUT, LIKE KARATEDAVE, I WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH MS. AT THE TIME IT FELT LIKE THE BOTTOM HAD FALLEN OUT OF MY WORLD AND TO BE HONEST, I’M STILL GETTING TO GRIPS WITH THE IDEA THAT I HAVE MS. BASICALLY, I’M TRYING TO MAKE CONTACT WITH OTHER PEOPLE WITH MS.
Hi i am the same as you both and found that this is a fantastic forum to ask advice or read about other peoples symptoms or problems and it so helped me feel that i am not on my own. Tonite for example i am having a bad day but coming on here helps to put things into perspective.
Hi, I was given a dx two months ago, but have been hovering here with a 'prob ms) for about 3yrs. The people/advice you get here has made me feel a lot less lonely than I would gave done without them. Lovely, friendly, advice. Best wishes to all in our individual but joined journeys. Sue
