This is my first time on the forum so I don’t quite know how it works? I have regularly been reading posts people have put just to reassure myself that there are others out there with similar problems to me as I haven’t actually met anyone with ms and it had all been very surreal as if its happening to someone else! It’s good to realise you aren’t alone.
Hi my name is katy not been on this site long either but everyone is very welcoming and helpful any time you need to ask anything someone will have a thought or suggestion. I havent met anenyone with MS either i suppose i am a bit afraid to join my local group but i am working up to it slowly and with everything with ms you need to take things at your pace nobody elses. Hope you can find help and support from this site i know i have. Take care
Hello and welcome
I hope you find the forum helpful. There are lot’s of great people on here, always happy to offer support and share stories.
I was diagnosed last year so still coming to terms with it all myself.
Look forward to chatting
Hi, welcome to the site. I don’t advertise the fact that I have MS and kept it quiet for about 15 years until symptoms made me have to tell.
Hope you’ve got a good neuro and MS nurse as they can be a big help.
Whatever symptom you have you can almost guarantee someone else has/had it too so there’s always someone to make a comment or bit of advice.
Stay well

hi
i’ve had ms for 5 and a half years.
still have totally p*ssed off days but also have happy days too.
if you have a ms therapy centre nearby, do join it.
i attend trafford ms therapy centre which is about 15 miles away.
the therapies on offer include HBOT (hyperbarric oxygen therapy)
they have pilates, yoga, t’ai chi and feldenkreiss classes.
a very friendly bunch who get through loads of cakes and coffee!
meeting strangers with ms is easier than meeting people you know well because you can start the new relationships on an equal footing.

Thanks for all your welcome posts I feel better already
