Why God Made Teachers

by Kevin William Huff

When God created teachers,
He gave us special friends
To help us understand His world
And truly comprehend
The beauty and the wonder
Of everything we see,
And become a better person
With each discovery.

When God created teachers,
He gave us special guides
To show us ways in which to grow
So we can all decide
How to live and how to do
What’s right instead of wrong,
To lead us so that we can lead
And learn how to be strong.

Why God created teachers,
In His wisdom and His grace,
Was to help us learn to make our world
A better, wiser place.

Brainpan

by Mirthryl

my mental hard-drive’s plenty full,
all’s “random access” here;
things move too slow, then system’s down
and naptime’s looming near

my resources are limiting,
those Sticky Notes of mind
(adhesive to affix my thoughts)
for reuse weren’t designed

the gurgling stream of consciousness
my transportation fleet;
attention’s pin balls vary course,
few thoughts are quite complete…

my polarity has gone askew
“OUT” rivets brain cell poles,
so ev’ry one off-puts the rest
like stiff, cold-shouldered souls!

I’m biped bubble-gum machine,
small change drops mind-piece bright,
some sav’ry pith to chew upon,
my coin-slot jams sure bite!

no more come thoughts in blue streaks,
but tepid dribbles, pale;
my memory’s a memory–
I’ve vacant space for sale!

Morning

I have problem with my short-term memory so thought this poem was quite apt for me.

I trapped my finger the other day, it still hurts. My husband came home home later and asked me how I’d done it and I couldn’t remember Finally remembered yesterday, when It nearly happened again

We are all ready for our 2 viewing’s at lunchtime.

Have a great weekend and keep smiling and if you can’t smile ((((((hugs))))))

Have just seen an advert for the greatest/best no 1’s of the 70’s, was singing along…can remember them, just nothing that happened a second ago, hey ho

I love the 70’s music. Loads on you tube

Sorry #2, you were making a point about your memory-knows what yah mean

Lol

My problem at the moment is that I can recall conversations pretty much word for word but I struggle to remember who I was talking to! Sometimes it’s like I’ve dreamed entire conversations. Gets a bit confusing at times.

I am the opposite.

My daughter updates me on the phone about her business. I say to her can’t you email me or start a blog.

My husband ask for an update after the conversation and I can hardly remember anything. I said to my doctor at an appointment yesterday how much it upsets me. I used to be in charge of a hospital ward, now I can’t remember a conversation with my daughter.

The gp had me drawing a clock, which I could do-relieved to say. Struggled with questions, such as the date and what the big charity of the day was. Even though the receptionists had big red fluffy ears on.

Give me the injection now
