After waiting 38 weeks for my PIP claim to be assessed, I have now been informed that because of my postcode, I am NOT entitled to any back pay as I was already in receipt of the lowest DLA component!!!
If you are about to make a claim for PIP and are already in receipt of DLA, please tell the telephone ‘helpline’ that this is for re-assessment and NOT a new claim.
Once again, the disabled are being treated dreadfully and it is about time that this was stopped.
