For any blue badge holders out there who live in beautiful Wales, a petition has been started to make Blue badge Applications Lifelong for individuals who have a lifelong diagnosis.

This is a good initiative, since there is always a risk that blue badges won’t be renewed and the whole application process can be stressful.

Makes sense
However, Gov policy doesn’t favour absolutes. Just look at PIP’s attitude to relapsing remitting conditions such as MS, FM, Lupus.
A really good idea!
I find the blue badge application a bit ludicrous- any one would think we are applying for a car not simply access to parking.
Hate to think of the amount of money spent on the process of considering applications !
