Pay back

Hello from a bright Crowborough.

The beast is making me pay. I don’t care. I can rest awhile knowing that there is plenty of home-made frozen food for ping cuisine and a few cold beers in the fridge.

I was stupid enough to have a day of domestic chores yesterday but at least they’re done.

And the reason for the shadow of the valley of fatigue?

Here is an account of my extended weekend if you wish to read it:

Best wishes, Steve Snorezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Nice one Steve. It sounds like you had a blast. Good old friends, lovely food, nice wine and a smidgeon of Whisky (plus a bit extra for luck). Added to a whole load of talking, laughing and sharing memories, thoughts and lives. You have well and truly earned your fatigue.

Sue

Sounds like you had a good time Steve

XX D

wonderful week you had!

i’m a bit jealous because my hard boozing hubby no longer wants to go to the pub.

i can do without but occasionally a pint of real ale is needed! i mean really needed.

Sounds like you had a ball Steve. Funny enough my ex husband, son and Grandson have all just arrived up in Liverpool for five days. They just rang me and we having a beer to two in Bold Street. I am going back for a long weekend in August can’t wait! Always guaranteed a good laugh up there.

Wow what a fab time was had by all! Payback Steve? Your time away is worth twice - so 2 days in bed to think of your great mates & the intelligent yet man hating female.

Congrats on your fab blog x

What a brilliant time you had Steve. Thanks for sharing it too. I feel like I did the journey with you and met your friends. Can’t beat great crispy roast spuds!

I smiled at your “white knuckle ride”. Yesterday my motorised chair was delivered courtesy of our HSE(NHS). Far sleeker and less clunky that I’d imagined it would be, and most of the bodywork is red. Had to be red! As a motorised chair virgin, I took it on a maiden voyage to Tesco today in a nearby big town. I didn’t mow anyone down, despite toddlers and small children doing their damndest playing Chicken in front of me. I’m looking forward to my new found freedom. I don’t imagine I’ll ever be as adventurous as you or our fellow member, Shelly.

Thanks for the read again and your writings never fail to make me smile…
