Hi Everyone Any advice would be greatfully received , having such terrible pain in my chest , back , neck and down my arm also pins and needles along with really bad burning sensation . Its getting me down now as doesn’t seem to be getting Any easier . 
has anyone got any advice on thing that’s will help. Sarah x
Morning Sarah x I and lot’s of others get this - it’s known as the hug and can be very debilitating x
If it’s a new symptom though you must check with the doctor to rule out anything else x
I’ve just started on Baclofen and so far it’s got rid of it for me - hope it eases for you soon xxjenxx
Hi Sarah, there are various drugs that can help.
Go and see your GP. I find Amitriptyline very good. It is actually an antidepressant (in higher doses) but lots of people use it for nerve pain.
Don’t suffer when there are good drugs that can help, so make that appoinment with GP.

Thank you both of your advice . I wasn’t sure with it lasting so long that it was classed as a hug. But now I know I will get in touch with my ms nurse. Last time I had trouble with muscle spasms they didn’t want to put me on any drugs for it as I have weakness in my legs and was told these type of drugs loosen all muscles so in turn would make it harder to walk. I didn’t know in the mean time if either of you have any tips on anything other than tablets has helped ease the pain even a little ?! Thanks guys for your help . Sarah x
