Pain in head and right eye

First post so hope all goes well, diagnosed 2years ago with rrms and apart from bad feet and ankles and horrible fatigue don’t think I’ve done to bad. Until about a week ago I started getting a pain right hand side of my forehead which has now spread to my right eye and the surrounding area. If I touch the right hand side of my nose it hurts the area of my forehead that’s affected, the pain is not that bad just irritating and worrying. Be nice if anyone had any ideas.

Hi, maybe it’s worth having a chat with your nurse-see if they can offer any advice. Also might be worth going for an eye test, lots of headaches are connected to our vision. Also drink lots of water. Hope you feel better soon. Leora

Hi, the kind of pain you are describing sounds like it could possibly be Trigeminal Neuralgia. I felt very much like you except I had pain down my cheek/jaw too…thought I had tooth ache to begin with, then the pain spread around my eye, forehead and felt like it was up my nose too (if that make sense!). I was already taking Pregabalin, but my GP also prescribed Amitriptylene and the pain isn’t too bad now.

[/quote] Thanks for that, was on amitriptylene for a while but felt like a zombie so came of it. Will go to the opticians to get my eyes checked out and hope it goes away. Cheers.

Hopefully it’s nothing and will go as quick as it came. Cheers.
