Ozempic anyone??

Putting here as I did not find any other references to GLP-1 treatments. I managed to finally convenience my GP to get prescription as requested by my Cardia Team - still it took about a year to be approved!!

Are here any other users of GLP-1 (Ozempic, Wegovy) style treatments to share experiences??

Hi, can’t speak from personal experience, but anecdotally everything I’ve read on here has been pretty positive. A quick search should throw up some posts.

Good luck.

Managing to get GLP-1 treatments approved is definitely a win, and combining it with structured wellness strategies can enhance outcomes—BetterMe’s article on corporate wellness programs highlights how guided approaches to health, nutrition, and mental wellness improve overall results, reduce stress, and increase consistency, so applying similar structured planning to GLP-1 treatment routines could help maximize benefits.

I’ve been on Ozempic for a bit, and while it helped with weight, the side effects like stomach paralysis were way worse than I expected. It’s a relief you got your prescription, but keep a close eye on how your body reacts.

I ended up having to look into my legal options because of the health complications I faced.

Yeah I’ve been on a GLP-1 for a few months now, and honestly the biggest change for me was how much it reduced constant hunger. It wasn’t dramatic overnight but over time it made sticking to a routine much easier. The main downside at the start was mild nausea, but it settled after a few weeks.
