Carole…Sues spc op was months ago. Shes just had a colostomy. She doesnt mind me calling her a 2 bag lady!

but also because I just love being around all the lovely flowers to, we have one by us and we often go for a coffee or two …
ps I had seven inches cut off my hair two weeks ago I have felt brand new ever since !! x
Good to hear Sue had a nice weekend, hopefully not too long she’s back at home very soon. (I’ve had a lovely day too, it’s my 30th wedding anniversary, been spoiled)!!! Still can’t find my Alice bands, but I know their in a safe place, probably there for good. xxx

Sues plotting to go home tomorrow as shes fed up. Food is rotten and she`s missing home life.

Hello to you all
Thank you so much for all the messages of support and care. Mostly over the last few weeks, I’ve only had my phone, with an iffy connection at times. And have also been brain fogged and knackered. Both of which are as a result of the general anaesthetic plus fatigue, plus a bit of getting used to my new plumbing. So occasionally I’ve had a quick look at what’s been going on in the Forum but haven’t posted at all.
I’ve really appreciated all the nice thoughts from you. And Poll is a true star, I’ve been texting her with news and updates and I know she’s been filling everyone in with progress. Thank you Poll, you are a true friend.
However, this may come as a disappointment, but I am not planning on giving the stoma, the bags or any part of it any names. Sometimes I refer to the stoma as the ‘baby’, as in, ‘the baby needs its nappy changing’. But naming of inanimate objects isn’t really me. (I’ve never named a car or a handbag or anything else. My cat is lucky to have a name!)
