OT`s visit this morning

Morning guys. Hope you`re all as well as you can be.

OT lady been about my hoist. She was aghast when I told her of the problem with the first hoist fraying, at only 11 months old. Then this new one showing signs of going the same way, after just a month!

I told her I have little confidence in this design and would like something better in it`s place…maybe a fixed to the wall one in each room, whereas this one is portable…that in itself can be problematic, when needing it in 2 rooms.

OT rang the firm who installed it and has arranged for a rep and her to come on Monday.

She said she wants some kind of recompense for supplying a faulty design!!!

Let`s see what problems that flings my way.

Do you think i go looking for trouble or what?

Hi Poll,sounds like there is light at the end of the tunnel.Lets hope it’s not a train coming.It sounds like the OT is cutting through layers of [rude word] and you should be able to push some ideas into the Rep.If there are any bits’n’pieces left over,can I have them please?

Hi Poll

I do hope that you have a photo or too that shows both the fraying and the make of the hoist.
This does sort-of give the impression that you might be prepared to take it further …

Ta all. Yes we do have a photo of the first hoist and its fraying. But cant chuffin` find it!
