Hi all well I’ve had full spine and mri done just over 4 weeks ago and have neuro appointment a week today. No update from mri scan (live in Hull).
I seem to suffering from headaches a lot more and my gp has said my spine now has a slight curve in it making one shoulder look lower than the other.
Had the buzzing back of the groin area.
Very vivid dreams tremors and jerks whilst sleeping and my wife said I’ve screamed out a few times.
Also had a spell when drifting off to sleep my head starts wobbling and shoulder starts jerking and seem to getting pins and needles in my two outer fingers a lot and back of neck feels like it’s sunburnt when anything touches it.
Anyone else had the head wobbling and vivid dreams
Feel like I’m going mad
No to head wobbling and vivid dreams but yes to disordered sensation in 4th and 5th fingers on both hands ( numbness in my case)and the sunburn thing in various places, neck included, as it happens.
Which isn’t to say I think you have ms like me - I have no idea - but definitely I get the challenge of having to put into words some strange stuff. Don’t worry about sounding strange or mad when you talk to the neurologist – they’re used to these things.
I hope that you have a productive consultation.
Hi Alison and thank you for the reply yeah had a lot symptoms similar to others on here but my legs have been mainly ok apart from a dead leg and cramp and some burning sensation in my thigh so confusing next week can’t come quick just want to know what’s going on feel like no one believes me as they can’t see my symptoms. My first episode I thought I was coming down with shingles but didn’t get a rash ah well answers coming soon.
Hi, did you ever get a diagnoses? I have been waking up in the night with my head wobbling and then seeing light grey with dark grey patterns, like hexagons, zebra type stripes and circles with horizontal lines. It lasts for about 10 minutes. The head wobbling can be during the day too but the vision thing is only at night. I’m waiting to see a Neurologist for different symptoms, this has only just started happening in the last month.
Hi ive got a telephone appointment on Wednesday with a neurologist, i was diagnosed with aura migraines but never thought it was that I’d been suffering with myoclonic jerks and lots of headaches when this all started last year which gradually got worse started having them during the day and evening whenever I relaxed then in about March I noticed a problem with my right elbow seemed to be weak all the time and I was getting more exhausted everyday eyesight got really bad in the morning when I got up for work.
Then on June 1st I had 5 focal aware seizures in the space of about 3hrs went to drs he suspects epilepsy see what happens I bought a camera to record myself sleeping was absolutely shocked what was going on in my sleep multiple seizures every night whilst sleeping which I didn’t know I’d had I had no idea they was that bad.
Some of my visual auras look like a firework display so many white dots shooting everywhere. And yes I defo get a head wobble it’s no no one get this a lot I have to have a sleep every afternoon now feel exhausted soon as I lay down my head starts wobbling.
So unsure what’s going on I have acetone smell really strongly everyday for long periods and have double vision above on things like led light on sky box tv etc and sometime get it sideways quite bad when I’m tired nerve pain on one side of my back prickly sensation and opposite side down my forearm.
Hope you get some answers soon
Oh wow, you have it all going on! How scary! I’m not sure what they do for that, but I really hope they can help you, as that must be so stressful to live with!
I saw my GP today to see about having a MRI before seeing Neurology, but he said that they aren’t able to. Neurology have to order the MRI and I’ve got about 30 weeks left before I am seen. In fact I don’t have an appointment yet. I also get a jerk and mine is in my left shoulder. The head wobbling worries me more. My GP has requested a CT scan of the brain, as he said that’s the best he can do, and at least it will rule out anything sinister, but it cannot show MS.
This sounds very much like me I got the jerks in my right shoulder all the time until recently but only had two in my left.
It’s frustrating the waiting times I’ve been down as urgent and it’s took 17 weeks (Hull).
For me and my experience my dr ordered a full mri head neck and spine to try and speed things up but because he ordered it the neurologist didn’t want to discuss the results with me but did say he had a taken a look at it and I had two lesions on my spine but my brain was clear but there was no mention of the lesions on the report neuro put it down to my age 52
Do you have jerks whilst falling a sleep ?
Oh that’s so annoying! I don’t know why it all has to be separate and they can’t communicate with each other.
I get the shoulder jerks in the evening, although other jerks like my left arm and the head wobbling can be day or night. I am like you and the fatigue means I have to take naps and I’m 36, without kids. I should be full of energy haha. Well hopefully we both get some answers soon!
