Hi, just got official DX this morning after 3 months of limbo but neuro sure only had 1 episode so they are keeping close eye on me and asked me to go again just before Christmas but not starting treatment yet. Pleased I finally have DX and that I am now in"the system" so to speak. New start now, feel have some sort of closure.
Hi. I’m glad you have a diagnosis, you’re right, it’s great knowing what’s causing everything, but you may also feel a bit emotional, I know I did. This forum is a wonderful resource, the people here are really friendly, don’t judge you and between them have a wealth of experience. Whatever you need to ask or cry about somebody will help.
Keep your chin up, you’re still the person you were yesterday with the same limitations. Just make sure you take care of yourself and rest enough. And stay with us, people here are lovely.

Hi Min, thanks for the message. I know when I had my follow up appointment after my short stay in hospital back in April and I had all the tests done my neuro said then MS and although I took it on the chin that night I howled and howled and have had at least three major melt downs in the last three months, one led to me having my hair cut really short as I did not want to look in the mirror and see “that MS girl” and needed fresh start. As it happens loving my new hair cut especially in all this hot weather! Met the MS nurses at Addenbrokes yesterday who are lovely and said I can call anytime and everyone on here has been SO supportive. I have a new attitude to life now, I grab it and this is a new adventure which I know I have so far been very very lucky with and I’m really grateful for that. At least I know now what’s been wrong with me all this time. Have a fab weekend min, I’m off to a close friends Silver wedding party tonight and gonna have my dancing shoes on! Best wishes Caz 
Hi caz, I admire your new found attitude to your dx…and the short haircut…I love short hair! i have mine cut every six weeks and colour it red with a black stripe across the front…not bad for a funky 60 yr old, eh?
Hope the do went well and you enjoyed it.
Sounds like you have great support…that`s what we need to get through all the junk a serious conditions chucks our way.

Hi Poll, Thanks for the message I have been trying to save a picture of my “new hair” on my profile but does not save for some reason…saying that i will log out and log on again and it will probably be there! lol. My friends party was great did loads of dancin but shattered yesterday so chilled out in a local park with a picnic so that was nice. I will have to take a leaf out of your book and experiments with some colour! I am lucky, my husband is very supportive and we are now discussing seriously starting a family, just been putting it off all these years but my neuro said if I’m going to then do it now but to be honest I’m a little scared, probably every women goes through this but I will be 38 later this year and I suppose I have just got selfish, my husband would have a child tomorrow so no worries there! LOL anyway…watch this space. Have a good week and I will let you know if I do something wild with my hair colour Luv Caz xx
