Hi, we have been offered either Tysabri or Ocrevus. Just wondered if how people are getting on on the medication and what people side effects are. Please help!!
I did the first two half-doses of Ocrevus and didn’t like it, but I’m also to the point of being possibly SPMS and never tried any other drugs.
I had all the “rare” side effects during the initial dosage and nonstop infections and colds for a year after that. My health had stabilized, and we were then dealing with Covid, so my neuro agreed to let me stop getting it.
I may give it another try in a few months, but I’m not sure how I feel about it.
Hello, I have recently started on Tysabri and I have found it okay, only side effect is having a bad headache for a few days, but I have heard very good things about this drug. You get tested before to see if you have JC virus and they keep an eye on this to reduce the risk of PML.
