I have been referred for an urgent CT scan due to headaches, coordination problems, numbness, dizziness and visual problems. I was initially seen in a and e and as i have a blind spot now in my eye they mentioned optic neuritis, however when i was seen by the eye people they said i dont have that as the back of my eye looks ok. Ive read some information about optic neuritis and im a little confused as it says that you cant always see the inflammation by looking into the eye so im wondering if they were right to rule it out so quickly?
Im a bit confused by everythng atm, dont really know what to think but am just hoping the ct scan gives some answers that can be helped. Has anyone else had these types of symptoms all at the same time?
