Newbies (& Oldies!) don't forget the LIKE button!

Hi gang, once again a little reminder to use the LIKE button. It really encourages people I think… and is also useful if you don’t want to reply but just to show that it was read and liked. It’s an anonymous button so nobody knows it was you who ‘liked’ it. We actually campaigned quite hard to get a LIKE button (many moons ago). I always try to remember to use it… and then sometimes it’s only my own posts that haven’t got any ‘likes’… so then I have to ‘like’ my own post otherwise it looks like mine’s the only post that’s NOT liked… lol… maybe I should get out more… Love ya, Pat xx

Promise to be good in future Aunty Pat!! Actually, I love the like button, especially on the days when I feel too c**p to reply. Lots of love, Nina xx

Sorry, keep forgetting! And your explanation of its use has made it clearer to me. I had a fuzzy idea that it was something to click if the post really said something i found informative or funny. I’ll be,like, ‘like LIKE like mad’ from now on. Kev

Hi Pat, Thanks for the information I did see the like button but I wasn’t sure what it was for or when to use it. I will try to remember to use it. Jackie

We need a dis-like button too.

Thanks Pat, I also like that button a lot, especially when I’m tired or feel I’ve said too much. I don’t like it when my name appears too often in the comments list, so I use it. I suppose it comes from my regular visits to Facebook.

Never took much notice of the tabs, dooh! like to get as many comments & posts read as possible cause "I like it .( Haribo advert cinema scene) I’m one of the simple folk. So thanks Pauline

Ooops, I keep forgetting. However, there are some posts than make me laugh, some that me think and some that are just kind. I tend to like anything that falls into those three.

Hi Pat,

Im newish to all this. Thanks for pointing this out to me and I will start using the button.

Thanks

Robert.

I use the like button a lot, particularly when I’m too tired to write a response to post.

Never thought about liking my own post Pat…hmmm…

Can I have give myself more than one like?

Why not, I’ll not tell anyone

Kev I tried liking your post twice and it just took my like away so I re liked it

CONFUSED

YOU WILL BE

Well now we know!!

But Kevin where do they go when they take them away? I looked at the back of my kindle and the original like hadn’t been chucked out. Was my original like put back in the cupboard awaiting refurbishment? Did it get passed on to another user? If so did or does that user know it’s a refurbished like.

So much to consider today and I am not even out of bed yet.

Yep it’s gonna be one of them days.

Don, my brain hurts

I think when you unlike a like the original like goes to the same place where odd socks go… Pat xx
