Morning everyone. For the last couple of days I’ve been exeriencing spasming in my left leg. It is obviously new because my right side is the weakest. I’m on Baclofen, which seems to calm it eventually but am now a bit worried because this has just started happening. I know what it feels like because I’ve had it happening in the right leg for the last six months or so together with extreme rigidity, that’s why I was prescribed Baclofen by my MS Neuro. Just worried that the MS has now moved to the left hand side as well. If it has, that’s me done for! Thoughts and experftience would be appreciated. I’m SPMS. I think this is a progression. I also have osteo arthritis in the right hand hip which doesn’t help. Linda x
Perhaps you need to up the dosage of Baclofen, can you ring your M.S nurse for advice or your G.P. if you can’t get hold of them try the Neuro ward of local hospital or failing all that ask the dispensing pharmacy. As for moving from one side to the other I have always experienced symptoms left and or right side even when I was only getting mild R.R symptoms so try not to worry about it too much. Jan
