New hear, and feeling a little lost

I honestly don’t know if I’m in the right place or not …
I have been struggling with dizziness, pins and needles/loss of feeling and sensation in my arms and legs for over 2 years now. More recently i have been also struggling with fatigue and sever hot flushes what wipe me flat out, making me feel dazed and disorientated. Like some sort of weird surge what rises up though my body with pressure in my chest and sides. My body also now spams uncontrollably when I’m stressed and anxious.
I have been trying to get a diagnosis for a while now. I have had a brain MRI and never conduction test and the neurologist said i was fine … although my health seems to have declined since then. Recently saw a physio therapist what agreed something was wrong. Although they think it might be fibromyalgia and told me to read a leaflet and see if i relate to it. some things seem to be the relate, i feel like it more relates to the symptoms of ms.
So now i feel a little lost. As i have no idea of whats going on still and wanting a little help and guidance. In knowing more about both. So i can try and figure out which one it might actually be.

Thanks in advance x

I’m no doctor, and even less a neurologist, but it sounds to me as if you need t get another opinion. Easier said than done, I know, but those symptoms sound very 'ms’y to me and need to be taken seriously,. Perhaps the physio could help point you in the right direction … I hope so, for your sake. They’re horrid symptoms to have, (saying that as someone who is recovering from an MS flare-up where dizziness kept me in bed for a week). I wish you the very best,
Claire

Thank you for your reply, its nice to just hear that it sounds like someone else’s experience or just someone agreeing it seems like ms. It is an absolute nightmare having a bad flare up. (Just recovering from being bed bound most of last week too) …
Hopefully this physio is a good one and is already taking me more seriously than anyone eles. Fingers crossed in time i might finally get closer to diagnosis this time round.
All the best
Neo

I hope it all goes well for you and that you get a sympathetic listener.
TAKE CARE!

Hi neon. Not sure I’m of much help to you - my first symptoms were some slight tingling’ in one of my arms and then ‘optic neuritis’ and loss of sight in my right eye ( the sight returned after some weeks- months).

Thank you for your response. Its nice hearing other peoples first symptoms, even tho it does sound hard.
Thankfully i don’t think i have had optical neuritis. That i know of, but get tingling pins and needles in arms/feet alot of the time.
