Hi Waiting for a neuro appointment I had MRI SCAN and my GP told me it was MS…I have read alot of posts and threads about this problem…GP called it Demyelation of the white matter. I am so worried because the symptoms I have are what everyone on here says they are suffering from. Fatigue, and weakness stiffness and blurred vision…Memory loss…What will the neuro do? I am waiting for LP will I have it done that day, the letter did not state LP.

I’m afraid that GPs do not have the knowledge or experience to be able to diagnose MS so you should try and keep an open mind about what might be causing the demyelination and wait to see what the neuro says. (MS is actually just one of lots of causes of demyelination so yours may not be because of MS.)
Your LP appointment will be separate to your neuro appointment and, tbh, I’m rather amazed that you have been sent for one by your GP - this is something that a neuro would normally ask for, not a GP. Sounds like your GP likes to be proactive!
Hopefully the appointment won’t be too far off and you’ll get a proper diagnosis soon
