Neuro appointment

Well been to see a Neuro, she took some history of how I am and what has been happening with me. She then did some reflex tests, and checked my eyes. She asked me which hospital did my MRI, and because it was a different one than 2day, she has not been able to look at the scan!!! WHAT? Totally a waste of time today then, she thinks its not MS, because my reflexes were normal.

I seam to be aware of my balance so I do things slowly, she also said it maybe a inner ear problem…Would this give me heavy legs and arms which are painful and stiff? I have had balance problems, vision, memory and concentration problems now for over a yr…Been here, there and everywhere and still no anwers to what can be causing all this symptoms…

I now have to wait till Tuesday, another waiting game, I am good at this! When she looks at the MRI she will then decide if I need Lumbar Puncture, had bloods done 2day so I will just have to wait again…So fed up I could cry!!!

Hi Jan…it really is enough to wear you down, isn’t it?

You wait weeks and weeks for the MRI, then wait another 12 weeks to get an appointment with the neuro…to learn absolutely NOTHING.

I’m lucky that this has not happened to me, my neuro and his secretary seem to be superhuman in terms of their organisational skills…and if he says he will refer me on to another consultant he has done so EVERY time.

However, I read enough on here to know that you are not alone in what happened to you today.

I’m really sorry, when it was called limboland they really weren’t joking were they?

Chin up darling and keep chatting to all us guys

Gillian

Thanks Gillian, I feel like I am always hitting a 10feet high brick wall…And I cant get over it…Bloody hell, when will things get better? On the other hand I have a good family who love and support me. Chat soon.
