How this great illness keeps affecting every aspect of life even taking a picture of a moth. Read about my weekend in bed which Heather thinks has given me yet more bed sores. Ring the GP tomorrow to get it checked but a weekend Sat on the loo or in bed seems has left its legacy.

Ive been salivating over the thought of a bacon and Brie sandwich since you posted about enjoying one, finally got to try one yesterday! It was SO delicious!

Hello Don, I loved your blog, i was inspired by your moth trap we haven’t had so many yet we tend to get a lot in Autumn. when i ws younger i was scared of them i remember being in the bath and a big black ugly one landing on me and of course being wet it stuck on my back and lost half of its black feathers…but some of them are quite pretty. We have bats in our garden and i love watching those.
Don could you get disabled lift ?. The disabled facility grant approved on for me but unfortunately we couldn’t go ahead with it because Lee is still working and the amount they wanted us to contribute was huge… for now i am managing a friend of Lees is going to make a sort of ramp…not perfect, but it will do until he retires. ,I have some mobility and our garden is private so no one sees me fall or crawl. I hope that you get a lift or some adaptation to get in your garden, i know how much you love it.

Sitting on the loo. I could sit on the loo for England. I’m sure you’ve tried a whole cocktail of remedies, all to no avail, but I use lactulose and it has made some difference; not so much in the frequency but in the time it takes me to unload. Enough of that crap. The moth idea sounds terrific. How many steps do you need to negotiate? When I went up to my dad’s I bought five foot folding ramps from Roll-a-ramp. It was just over eighty quid. All the other quotes were over three hundred.

Great blog Don, I don’t envy you at all with the moths, I don’t like the thought of them touching me, so I steer clear of anything like that…what a wimp I am lol
Constipation is just the pits Don, I feel for you, and the last thing you want are bed sores. I forget the name of the special cream the doc gave me for this, but it was good, and if I can remember it will let you know.
