Hello Everyone

Sorry Guys and Gals I have not been on here much lately in fact I dont know what has happened with the days and weeks. Time just evaporates, my eldest brother often says to me "No sooner is it Monday and Friday comes along and then I get the weekend off " I know what he means. I still do my disabled Don blog and just wrote a couple of posts about constipation and my new ceiling hoist it is just like being on a fairground ride I LUV it. If constipation is of interest try this one http://disableddon.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/constipation-can-kill-you.html

Hope everyone is flu free

Great to hear from you Don, I know what you mean about weeks going by in a blink, still it means Spring is just around the corner…thank goodness.

Will have a gander at your blogs later.

All the best to you and Heather.

Yep, I’ll have a look at blogs tomorrow x

I can’t seem to access the hoist one. I’m particularly interested as I’ve just found out today that I’m getting one. Sarah x

Good to see you back Don, I do so agree with you…is it our age that makes time fly, I don’t know, but I’m always shocked when I register, luckily for me I don’t register anything very much!

Take Care Don, Hope Heather is well? My husband has Australian flu…it’s certainly taught me just how much he does for me!!

Hi Sarah here is the link again

Hope that works. Don

I must say I was always against it but needs must and I am no longer in danger of falling whilst getting in and out of bed.We both said how much difference it has made to our lives when our GP called yesterday. Heather is less exhausted and I get to play Tarzan twice a day swinging from bed to wheelchair and back

XX Don

Hope he is over his flu, Heather had a chest infection over New Year and yep you then realise what you cant actually do anymore.

XXX Don

What a nightmare, sounds exhausting!

Hi Don,

I totally get what you say about constipation I regularly drink prune juice, it works a treat. I have a ceiling hoist just like you and it’s brilliant. I said, in the beginning, that I’ll never have one of them but needs must and it makes life easy and safe for all involved.

Enjoyed your blogs, thanks. Jane X

MY MOBILIY IS DOWN TO ABOUT 10% SINCE MY RELASPE BUT I GET AROUNG WITH A SHOPPING TROLLY AND WORK SITTING DOWN ON THE TILLS. I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK REGUARDING WOORKING WITH PPMS. THANKS .

Hi Magaends, big welcome to this website, a friendly place full of helpful advice. However, this Topic under PPMS category is about hoists, the freedom that Hoppity is enjoying from the hoist & easing the physical strength his wife had to use before the boist.

You can start your own topic, title Employer Warnings or whatever is most appropriate, and you’ll receive a host of great advice. So welcome again, you’ll pick up lots of great info.

Hi ya Magands and welcome to the board. I have always been self employed so have very little experience of your problems. As Chrissie said start a new thread where you will be seen by everyone and I am sure someone will have something to say XXX Don
