As some of you will remember, my long term wonderful carer, Bev, has been the embodiment of thoughtfulness and kindness to all and sundry.

She`s been nursing a cold on and off for a bit.

Yesterday her hubby rang me…she`s badly…they rang 111…covid not suspected, but the flu.

Oh my poor Bev. I spoke to her today on the phone. Poor lass is worn out.

Her mum had 3/4 of a lung removed with cancer last June and has made a slow recovery and still needs help.

Bev has 2 young boys and a poorly hubby and a sister and 2 brothers and then there` s little old me depending on her too.

Bev is everything to everyone…tries to be and is suffering.

Thank heavens it most probably isnt dreaded covid.

Im sure youll all wish her well. She`s a diamond! Do you remember when you wanted to clone her?

Of course I remember your Best Bev, the Mark One model, Poll. What a shame. I do hope she gets better soon. And it’s not CV19. Even if it is, hopefully the mild ‘get over it quickly’ type. Wishing her a speedy recovery and that you aren’t neglected in the meantime!

bless her this Influenza A which is doing the rounds is nasty. it also affects the respiratory system.

she must rest thats the trouble with people who dont rest enough they are open to all kinds of things. I hope she soon recovers, and yes we do all have diamonds in our lives, sometimes we just dont realise it until they are off away from us.

Thanks everyone. Bev is feeling a little better today. I have a few more hours with the agency carers. But this morning they had an emergency and couldnt come. They`ll be here to put me to bed later.

Mr Poll stepped in…he`s still my rock…72 in August.

you do understand that as you have been in cintact with a suspected possible case, you need to self isolate and be extra careful. Make sure carers wash hands, use gloves and masks. Wipe all surfaces when they have gone - light switches door handles.

Yes red…we do all that.

But spoken to Bev today and 111 tell her her it is flu and they wont test her unless she goes into hospital. She is getting better.

Hubby and I are both well. I think if Bev did have covid, we would be showing symptoms by now.

just 2 days on…yesterday Bev rang me…getting worse…chest and throat very sore…high temperature too.

She rang 111 and they say it is covid…but she should only call 999 if her breathing worsens.

so you have to be near death before you go in…told her to isolate in her bedroom…sons and hubby to stay in other rooms…

My poor Bev…she has been my best friend for 9 years. No-one knows me like she does…or how to look after me.

Got the agency in more…but I want my Bev. Please pary/hope for her.

Thinking and hoping Bev soon gets better. I have two very good friends who are carers, both had symptoms and have been self isolating for 7 days so far. 111 told them both it was flu, however the hubby of one is manager at a ‘ocal hospital. He got tested of course and was positive. One friend has no temperature today but now has dry cough the other has no cough but still has high temperature. Because they both work in care home they have to stay home another week but one tl’ d seven days from now the other told seven days after temperature and cough go. If the professionals can’t agree what hope.

Bev, it is people like you that will be applauded tonight, you keep the planet going!

Stuff all the super rich in this world who ONLY think of getting richer, stuff all the selfish NON caring people in this world, stuff all

the people who caused this sh*t (although it cannot have been done on purpose or ?, just imagine being so ‘powerful’!), and stuff

that orange faced jerk in the US (and all the other awful ‘world leaders’).

Also (not finished just yet, my ‘mood control tablets’ do not work as I must have told you in the past, although maybe they do for

which reason I am still out of prison…, only joking…:), and I apologize beforehand for mentioning this under today’s circumstances

(as my family is still free of COVID-19 for as far as we know), stuff the person (behind the camera that is…) who gave me a ticket

at South Mimms (M25), where I had fallen asleep on a parking space for the disabled (and exceeding the 2 hour limit…), as I was

feeling exhausted and emotional, after returning from attending the cremation service of a beloved family member in Holland (just

BEFORE all COVID-19 hell broke loose btw!), AND I FELT THAT IT WAS IRRESPONSIBLE TO KEEP ON TAKING PART IN

TRAFFIC!!, this for my own safety as well as the safety of others. I did not like to have a rest at places alongside the A12 etc as I

would have felt more vulnerable, not being able to ‘use my legs’ in case necessary.

Not finished yet…, stuff the dutch MS side who blocked me after I showed a link to a side showing us the speed at which the world

population is growing (and the other way round…) UNINTENTIONALLY BEFORE we really knew how bad ‘things’ were! (although

I do use this site now to keep an eye on the ‘world situation’…, as I have always done via ‘The News’ on television and via the

papers…), also to compare the situation as it is in the UK as well as in my native country ‘The Netherlands’…

BUT.… HOORAY for the caring underpaid carers in this world, contributing (IN)DIRECTLY AS HAVE BEEN PROVEN

NOW!) to the economy, as without these WORKERS AT THE NHS, AND ALL OTHER CARERS for disabled people (including the

carers of our own disabled daughter), the carers working in elderly homes, and all other people looking after sick relatives,

neighbours, etc…, AND THE 99 YEAR OLD WHO FOUGHT IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR AND ‘FOUGHT’ AGAIN AT

HIS OLD AGE TO HELP AND FUND THE NHS…, I SALUTE YOU ALL!!!

My wife told me to send in an appeal to avoid paying a parking charge of now £100,00 (instead of the ‘discounted amount’ of

£60.00)…). Can anyone at the board or whoever help me out and defend my case?? What I mean is can you confirm towards

them that I DID the right thing by taking a rest due to the unavoidable fatigue associated with MS?? (and the fact that I fell asleep

is confirmation of that?!).

FYI, the ‘fine’ was issued by ‘ParkingEye Ltd’, PO Box 117, Blyth, NE24 9EJ (ref 414553/378654). I am able to show an email I

received with the announcement of the death of my mother’s sister, as well as the return fare to Holland by ferry, but I do not like

to distribute one and another just yet!).

Why I do all this? Because my income already is so bl**dy low, and because the CorunaVirus malaise already puts my family life

under even more pressure than usual!!!
