George Michael, what a lovely man, I cried when he died.

Thank you. I’m not really able to do much at the moment but if/when that changes I’ll be on a mission to find cats, find out who is due to play at a venue accessible to me and get tickets.
I bought the CD when I got my diagnosis, so the song, far from making me sad reminds me of the promise made to myself that I would be strong. Don’t know if I kept that promise but I’m still here!!
I’ve got no idea where it’s coming from but today I have David Bowie’s, Sorrow playing in my head. I’m actually quite happy! However, this was swiftly followed by The Laughing Gnome!!! Saints preserve us!
I’m feeling good actually Carole, thanks. All my earworms seem to be from so, so many years ago. They link up with so many memories too don’t they? People, places, emotions at that particular time…
I love the idea of you singing “Carole is strange!”
Talking of the Laughing Gnome and Bowie, I watched a bit of Labyrinth which had the same amount of whimsy and was as corny. I think that Bowie had few reservations about showing all aspects of himself, although please David put a better filter on it!
When you’re strange faces come out of the rain! A good lyric which paints a picture.
I need a shower to properly wake me up but it’s a long way up the mountain (stairs) and I’ll have to stay down here until my bladder gets a bit more angry.
Today’s earworm is Walking in the air by Aled Jones even got Alexa to play it. Hope you get a cat, I follow a local cat rescue they are always looking for good homes.
