Hi all, I have stage 4 endometriosis - and in truth put alot of my symptoms down to my endo and perhaps endometriosis around a nerve or something, but the more I’m looking into my symptoms the more I think I could have MS and just want some advice
Some symptoms include:
Painful skin which feels like sunburn when clothes are against it, painful scalp when moving my hair around , dizziness ( feeling drunk or hungover ), very dizzy when getting out a hot bath or shower, very very fatigued, muscle aches which feels like my arms or legs are too heavy, numbness which occurs in my little finger on one arm, and on the other side in my toes , sometimes a little shaky, and bad lower back pain ( granted this could be my endo)
I have an alrounder blood test coming up to rule out things like vitamin deficiencies but worried about being fobbed off if those all come back okay?
Do these symptoms resonate with anyone?

Hi, I had Endo years before my MS symptoms kicked in. Its a horrible thing to deal with (surgery and hormone treatment for mine), however, you are starting off right with the blood test(s) to rule out any deficiencies. If the doctors don’t know what is causing the symptoms then they need to refer you to other more specialised clinics. Fingers crossed they will be proactive and get on with it.
Otherwise, be ready to annoy the heck out of them until they refer you (if only to get a break from you) to the right people to get the Endo under some sort of control and get a referral to a neurologist and/or connective tissue/endocrine specialists - rule out other possibilities (of which there are way too many).
Do not let “its just stress/anxiety/you’re attention seeking/a woman of your age/it’s psychosomatic” or any other bs get in the way - I had 9 years of the above before I was diagnosed with MS during which time I came within a whisker of kidney damage due to them ignoring my bladder issues because the neuro wrote psychosomatic on my medical notes!
Hang in there, I hope you get some relief from the Endo soon and an answer to your neuropathic symptoms too.
