Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with MS in August 2009.
A couple of years ago my GP said that she thought I have Fibromyalgia as well.
At my last appointment to see the MS specialist at Q.M.C. in October 2018 he diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia.
Has anyone else got both of these conditions or am I the only one?
I think you my have the same neurologist that I have. Mr c. I saw him in September.

Fibromyalgia is one of the most misunderstood diseases in the last decade. So many people are now being diagnosed with it. both my daughters, a few of their friends, the list is endless.
why? I think its the way we live now way too stressed, and it is triggered by viruses and other noxious things. Maybe pollution is finally getting its own back.
Its a painful disease but can be controlled.It works better with movement and warmth, my daughter rides now and it has helped her a lot. both of them keep active.
Its the loss of sleep they struggle with. I know a few people with MS with fibro.
this is a very good article about it. I think the Americans are way more advanced with this disease then the UK. Not much fun hun having both. xxx
