Hi all, came in here for chat and advice.. I’m 29 and male in the North of UK. I have had daily headaches for years. I’ve now had another MRI scan on head and found a brain lesion in frontal lobe and got my neurologist chat next week. The letter said suspicious of demyelination. After doing the inevitable and using doctor google I can’t help linking demyelination and MS. Plus my other daft things I have wrong atm like Reyanuds in my fingers, clumsiness and dizziness. I think I’m just spiralling. I could just have chronic headache. Any help/advice?
Hi sorry you are going through this it’s not a fun place to be in waiting for results and appointments let alone the physical issues you are facing. I’m not a doctor so only a professional can dissect what they see on your MRI but you have to tick a set of boxes to be diagnosed with ms. You have to prove demyelination in time and space along with defined relapse (in their eyes) I am giving a basic explanation, there are other circumstances to get a diagnosis based on the Macdonalds Criteria. Migraines can cause lesions so unfortunately you just need to keep an open mind and stay away from google if you can. Everyone is lovely here so stick around you will learn lots and from real experiences
