Moving to Lincolnshire

Hi I’m new here but not to MS. Originally diagnosed with relapsing remitting nearly 30 years ago. I now have SPMS. For all these years I have been under the care of Leicester General hospital both for Consultant appointments and MS Nurse support. I hope to be relocating shortly to the Lincolnshire Wolds, to a bungalow. What kind of support is available in Lincolnshire? What hospital? MS Nurse support? If you have any advice for me, please reach out.

Hi
I’ve lived in Lincolnshire for 12 years. I also have SPMS. My GP referred me to a neurologist on my first appointment. I also have a MS nurse, physio, referrals to a pain clinic, incontinence nurse. I’ve been provided with a wheelchair, bath chair, turner and a lift cushion. My GP agreed to prescribe Nabilone after the Consultant at the pain clinic recommended it. I’ve had appointments with Neurologists and MS clinics in Grimsby, Lincoln and Hull. No problems getting medication. I really don’t think you’ll have anything to worry about. Good luck with your move. Lincolnshire is a beautiful place to live xx

Thank you for your reply which gave me some reassurance. Unfortunately our purchase has fallen through, so it’s back to the beginning for the time being
