Hi everyone! I hope you are all keeping well. I recently read some posts about people who moved to Spain (and other sunny countries) but they are a few years old and the users seem to be inactive now. I was wondering if anyone in this situation would be willing to share their experience?

I wasn’t one of those people who had moved. Im in the less than sunny west side of Scotland which actually quite suits me. It can be a little grey and wet but it never gets too warm. Hot weather just drains me and I know from others on this Forum that I’m far from alone in this.
Might be something to watch out for if you are thinking of south or central Spain?
I agree with @Hank Dogs, before MS me and my husband had decided to move to Spain, we even took Spanish classes to learn the lingo, once MS came along and I realised what the heat did too me and not being sure about meds and support we soon changed our minds, sad really as it was our dream.
I live in Yorkshire and our weather can be similar to where Hank Dogs lives, we do occasionally get hotter days, but then that’s me sat indoors in front of a fan. Good luck to you in whatever you decide to do,
