Moving Abroad

Hi Guys, I am thinking of moving abroad with my wife. She is

Australian and has an Australian passport, I have. Degree in counselling and

she is an NHS A&E nurse. Is it possible somebody living with MS would be accepted

into Australia? Just wanted to see if anybody nea? Thanks

Now I don’t know for sure, but I would have thought that as long as you get medical insurance and can afford your own healthcare that it wouldn’t be a problem. Good luck with your application

Hi. I would say try to not let the MS stop you moving abroad. If your wife is Australian you have an ‘in’ there. That said. Countries vary vastly with their MS facilities etc. Do a lot of research. Find yr info. I have PPMS and as there are no treatments (worldwide for my type (contrary to what some people believe), it doesnt matter where I live!! Good luck. Let us know how you get on. Anne

Check the qualifications for moving. I believe they like you to contribute to the economy.

2nd thing: Do your research. climate change is very real and getting worse. The leader there does not seem to believe or care. Worst fires in howevermany years. It will get worse. It will happen again. Do you cope well with heat? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-australia-50837025

Good point red!

Again. Good point Red. I cannot cope with the heat. Could not live in a warm country or visit one!! Xx

we went to Perth in Australia a few back and honestly I couldn’t live there, don’t get me wrong, its a lovely country, but far to hot, so no I could live in a hot climate.

My husband and I moved to Amsterdam. And it’s a very cool idea
