Hi, I have MS, I am an artist and crafter, recently being only 4ft 11 i have had trouble getting onto my computer chair, i can get on it in the low position, but once i am sitting on it can’t hire it to reach my desk. has anyone got any ideas of how I can get round this? there are chairs which cost thousands which are electric, but that is not an option?

Ask for a visit from an occupational therapist, OT. They assess your home from a safety point of view and offer wonderful advice and help in ways people have no idea of.
You might want to change your name on the forum to something that allows you annonimity.
It would be great if an OT can sort you out a more suitable chair…worth an ask.

A lower desk? Can you change the legs. Loads at Ikea,B&Q etc. Suppose it depends what kind of desk it is!
