hello my name is matthew my mother suffers from Ms and Parkinsons she is struggling at the dinner table and keeps falling down. i have seen special chairs online but they are very expensive and i dont want to buy if it wont help.

does anyone have any advise for what could help her as she is having a tough time just sitting still at the table and im hoping there is some kind of chair that will help support her

If you are in the UK you should ask your specialist nurse or GP for a home assessment by an occupational therapist who could advise on or provide equipment. They would provide appropriate guidance. Their role is to help with living with the limitations we have. A physiotherapist would help with improving fitness.
