Never had one before MS…now becoming a more regular thing.
Currently on day three of one and in absolute hell. Completely unable to function.
Kids came bouncing into my room this morning full of holiday excitement and asked what we’re doing today and I just burst into tears. Never normally cry in front of them about my health. Hardly ever cry about it to be honest!
But this is hell. Pure hell. Please, please does anyone manage these things successfully and how? I need a strategy if they’re part of life now
It seems you are far from alone with this dreadful symptom and hope you find a workable solution.
I take sumatriptan (imigran) I know flashing lights is one of my triggers so I avoid if possible. I also know when one is coming on ,so can usually head it off with paracetamol, but still leaves me with a wooly head, but deffinatley better. Make sure before taking anything, its ok with whatever meds you are on.
THo-e you find something that works…could try migraleve as an alternative
