MERRY CHRISTMAS PPMS GANG!

Hi all, well here we are again on Christmas Eve! Where does the time go? I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas… keeping in mind that MS can be a bit of a problem at Christmas… so let’s try and take it easy eh? I said on here a few weeks ago that I was spending it on my own… well I got talking to a couple of other people who were also planning to spend it on their own and we noticed that our local Weatherspoons is open Xmas day for Xmas dinner… So now we are booked for a 3 course turkey dinner at 1pm tomorrow! It’s a 5 minute ride on mob-scooter… £29.99… pricey for Weatherspoons… but hey no shopping or cooking AND no dishes!!! Then I can come home, get into dressing-gown, get on recliner, telly on and a box of choc’s. Sounds good to me! Whatever you are doing for Xmas I hope it goes well and you have a lovely time. If you’re not having a good one, just remember that it will all be over in a couple of days… so hang on in there… AND COME ON HERE… I’ll be checking in from time to time and I’m sure others will too… so you all have your PPMS gang here for you!!! Love to all… and thanks for all your lovely support and friendship… it means everything. Pat XXX

Thanks Pat, I hope you have a really lovely time too. I’d also like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. The support and friendship also means the world to me too. Love to all, Nina xx

Best wishes Pat and everyone else. This forum is a BIG help. x

Thanks so much Pat. Merry Christmas to you and a Happy New Year! Have a lovely time at Weatherspoons eating your Christmas dinner and enjoy yourself in front of the box with lots of yummy choc. I must admit that I’ll be glad when its all over. Hopefully my boys will enjoy it but it is such a work up and very expensive and stressful! Love to all the lovely PPMSers! Teresa xx

Thanks Everyone for the lovely messages sent, but more importantly I’d like to thank you all for the friendship and support you’ve given me. Without you I would definitely be managing nowhere near as well as I am.

I’d also like to wish everyone here a lovely Christmas whatever you’re doing. I never imagined I could meet such a lovely group, especially in one place. Take care and enjoy it, you deserve it!

Merry Christmas! I hope you have an awesome time with the others  I hope everyone else has an amazing day too. I think everyone here deserves it. I’ve been up since 2 waiting for everyone to wake up for presents and stuff. Did I mention I’m 24? Haha. Hope you’re all well

Hi Pat l do hope you had a good dinner l am going to try that next year. l did find it hard doing dinner for 5 as grandaughter cryed all morning so mum could not help, or maybe next year we will go to theres . Take care all hope we all have a happy new year and legs are not to silly. Regards Jan xx

Ah Jan I don’t know how you do it. Dinner was nice… not as nice as homemade, but perfectly ok and loads of it… and they said ask for seconds if we wanted! So that was easy but I feel really ill now and going to bed to watch Midwife and then Downton. MS does not like Xmas… or mine doesn’t anyway. I feel too tired to do anything more than lie in bed and stare at the box! Next year Jan arrange it so that you don’t end up doing it all… Lots of love, Pat xxxxx

Hi and Merry Christmas to you all!

Today has been nice & quiet, the chaos starts tomorrow. My husband has been in the kitchen for the last couple of hours preparing.

Love & best wishes to you all
