Leg and knee pains

Hey so I’m not sure what to expect from here but I was wondering if someone could give me some information. I was diagnosed with ms about 8 months ago but Was a stressful 3 year process and I still feel like I know nothing about this or whether the things I feel have anything to do with it. I just feel like an emotional wreck most of the time with sudden anger or just randomly crying? I’ve been having these pains in my legs for the last couple months mainly in the knees or should I say mostly the one knee. It’s feels like I’ve torn a muscle of something and I struggle at times to even walk down the stairs as I feel my legs are going to give way. I’ve just started on tecfidera and I’ve been getting really bad stomach cramps, is there any suggestions to help with that?

Hi Mike, my SPMS mainly affects the left side during the night and early morning where I suffer from various cramps in my left foot, toes and ankle. However, about 30 months ago I started using 4/5 drops of CBD oil @ 15% strength and would rate it at a 70/80% success with a lot less pains. I’ve used various suppliers on ebay, but trouble is once you’ve found a good supplier they tend to run out by the time you require more, so I use others with good reviews.

Hi Mike. I think you should let somebody know - MS nurse, Neurologist’s secretary - know that this is happening for you. You are very recently diagnosed and this is new pain with a feeling of the knee going to give way happening. They need to consider this I feel. You don’t have SPMS and cannot self treat. You may even be referred for physio - who can say. I have a lot of bother with both my knees now - likely I am going to land a PPMS diagnosis as I am 63. All the best.
