I post another food based blog. I’m just so pleased that I’m able to do all this. Just a few modifications and one slightly expensive wheelchair have made all the difference. my pastry even when completely able bodied was awful.

my memory of that era is of me and hubby scraping the apples out of an apple pie adding custard and binning the pastry.
if i could master pastry, i’d be baking all the time.
better leave it as it is because i can’t afford to pile the weight on.

Ever thought about buying ready made pastry? Thought not!
Btw, there has been an occasion of a mouse eating my cats dried food in this house too. Dam cats get old, bring their ‘toys’ in, then let them go. It’s fun watching the OH chasing the mice though!! I don’t think a long handled grabber would work on a mouse.
