A friend of mine who has HSP, told me she went to a friend`s funeral this week. The lady was Jane Redfearn. She lived in Leeds, and had MS for many years. she died aged 51…with pancreatitis. Not directly through having MS, but her condition was bad and other health oroblems were involved.
I have spent the last few days wracking my brain about Jane Readfern. When I first saw your post I thought that the name was familiar but I just can’t dredge it up. As you know I’m from Leeds so its not beyond the realms of possibility that I do know her but I can’t think of how - or put a face to the name.
I knew Jane, she was a very thoughtful, caring and endearing person who put up with a lot. She had lots of friends at the ms chat where we meet every Friday fortnightly. We would share sarnies, biscuits and chat about anything. Sadly Jane couldnt walk anymore and would often wish she had her legs again.
She will be sadly missed by everyone, who would have thought Jane would have passed so quickly. She was fine a few weeks ago when I saw her, then next thing she was being cremated!
Her children all said lovely things about her, and we knew she was loved by all. I shall miss her cheery smile, her rosey cheeks, her kindness and her spirit in view of her increasing disability.
Oh bren, I am so glad to have found someone on here who knew Jane. Fancy it being you tho`, one of my best buddies and friends. Thankyou for the kind things you say about her.
I will let my HSP friend know. She will be heartened to hear your words.
