Afternoon my friends.
A few years ago, maybe 5 or so, I began pm-ing a member here and wonder if any of you remember her…Sheriz in USA? She doesnt post here now, but perhaps pops in for a read now and then.
Sheriz and I regularly send messages to each other. I find her to be quite an amazing woman. Her husband Dennis, suffered cancer a few years ago, and did beat it. But, as is often the case, it returned. He was in and out of hospital, with Sheriz looking after him at home with hospice at home nurses.
There were times when they had no money and lost their home, due to medical bills there. Dennis spent one winter convalescing in a friends campervan! Sheriz and their youngest son, slept on floors in friends houses.
Later their church built them a small house and arranged a mortgage for them.
I`ve had a message from Sheriz today, telling me that Dennis has passed away. Her strong faith is supporting her, but she fears her MS may flare up. Poor Sheriz, poor Dennis.
They have 6 grown children, who all lead Christian lives, so I hope that will help them all.
Does anyone remember Sheriz? I cant recall if she had a username other than Sheriz.
