ii have had a wasp buzzing in my foot all morning and now he is being joined by a few friends!!!
they are now exploring my leg and getting angry, anyone got some wasp killer?

Pregabalin’s my wasp killer. It also works as a burn spray, pain killer, de-buzzer, de-tingler, and de-lots of other stuff.

Chocolate and ice on the offending area. No wimping and trying to get used to the cold slowly …full wack pushed on hard and held there.
Works for me if you concentrate on savouring the chocolate.

Wine helps my wasps settle down…wine helps to wash the gabapentin down too. Does bugg*r all for the muscle pain though - does pregabalin act differently to gabapentin?

the wine and chocolate are now on my list of staples for the food shop! i do take gabapintin (600mg three times a day) but it dosnt seem to have much effect on the wasp, but then if i didnt take it would there be a huge nest? i would be interested if anyone knows if pregabalin would be worth trying, going drs friday so some info would be helpful to take with me.

Like you, I always have a bit of buzzing regardless of medication but at the weekend I ran out of gabapentin and went three days without - all I can say is never again!! The buzzing etc was sooo strong I realised how much it helps. I’m on the same dose as you but might up it to 900 - I was on this dose at the beginning of summer and felt good. Luckily I don’t get spaced out with it, do you?

im very lucky in that i rarely get side effects from med, as for being spaced out, my brain is perminatly scrambled at the moment, memory is rubbish as is concentration, i have to have a list of anything i need to do. i do have a brain (seen it on mri scan) but i am very scatty with all my various symptoms.
glad to know that i am getting some relief cause my wasp and his freinds have reached my boobs and its not nice!!

The wasps have infested my right side from hip downwards. Not altogether unpleasant sensation in the right upper thigh area!!! Ann summers eat your heart out!!
