Morning all, I have posted here previous in relation to my symptoms as I’m awaiting a diagnoses and still in limbo, I had one mri and I am waiting to go for a second with a dye injected however I’ve just had a ct scan appointment turn up in the post ive rung the hospital to find out why and this was requested by the radiologist after my first mri. Has anyone else had this in the process of being diagnosed? I also got advised that I may have a colloid cyst from the first mri results so im unsure if this ct scan is in relation to that or the m s symptoms and the hospital didn’t have much information. Hi Haylz, I`ve just google colloid cyst, as I didnt know what it meant.
I see it is a benign brain tumour, which doesnt spread, but grows very slowly.
Maybe, but I dont know for sure, that the ct scan is to monitor the cyst.
Do ask your GP to make sure.
I dont believe a ct scan is usually used to diagnose MS.
