l am part lrish [Granny side Kennedy] and my once chestnut hair is now blonde - but l do still have my green eyes. And l have never had my ‘funny’ bone amputated - thank heaven.
l certainly do not take offence when anyone laughs at me for any reason - l usually laugh along with them.
Last night - at the ‘Shoot’ dinner at local pub - l was trying to get down the steps to the restaurant - and as l looked a bit like Julie Waters doing the ’ two soups’ sketch. l called out to all in the restaurant - ‘‘Two Soups’’ as l limped in - and everyone burst into laughter. l would rather have that then folk feeling sorry for me - or even rushing up to help me.
