I am glad that there are now ‘priority times and places etc’ for these workers but am ‘disappointed’ that it doesn’t extend to carers that are family /friends
Any/all replies appreciated

My husband has a Carer’s Card that was issued by the council. We had to give 2 phone numbers that the council kept. If he was involved in an accident then someone could ring the council and they would ring the numbers so that I could be looked after. Hope that makes sense!
He has shown it at supermarkets when attending the “elderly and vulnerable” hour and it has been accepted.
Maybe your council runs a similar scheme.
